Future Plans

We have premises available in North Walsham with parking off road for 6 cars. It has everything we need for the forseeable future, kitchen, 4 rooms for leisure, activities, training and fitness, a double garage for projects and work experience. I believe we can get council permission to use it for our purposes. I would ideally like it to be open every day for at least 4 hours but first we would need enough members and volunteers for it to be worthwhile, then we would need ongoing finance to cover rent and other overheads.

There is a limit to how many members can attend an activity, therefore we will need to have more activities. We could do this if we had separate areas and now that we have trustees in Norwich and Sheringham this could become a possibilty.

Fortunately we have not had a transport problem because most of our members have a car and can pick others up. We can currently pay for some fuel costs due to a grant but i would like to pay 30p per mile to encourage giving lifts. This is still much cheaper than getting a minibus but depends on how successful we are at getting grants.
