25th August 2010. Club night. Hard to believe that over 50% of the guys are not well enough to take part in activities.

3rd June 2010.  Our once a year trip to the kart track at Cromer. ( only once because it is so expensive ) Ken managed the fastest lap at under 40 seconds.

2nd june 2010.  Wed night at The Orchard Gardens. Nice cold beer in the garden followed by darts and cards.

1st June 2010.  Evening tennis at Cromer.

27th May 2010.  Lawn tennis on the grass courts at Cromer then on to The Manor at Mundesley for a beer.

26th May 2010.  Wed night at The Orchard Gardens.

21st May 2010.  New venue. Fishing at Reepham Fisheries. About 25 minute drive from North Walsham but worth it. Nice sunny day and very pretty lake well stocked. We fished for about 4 hours and averaged 3 fish per hour each.

20th May 2010.  Another new venue, The Waterside in Rollesby, which only opened this March. Perfect sunny day for a boat trip there on the Broad, one of the quietest due to it being a conservation area. Then on to The Greyhound pub at Hickling with a cold beer in the garden to continue enjoying the sunshine.

19th May 2010.  Wed night at The Orchard Gardens.

13th May 2010.  New walk, should have looked at the map, thought it was only about a mile but turned out to be 3, oops. The walk was from Ludham Bridge to The New Inn on The Broads at Horning where we had a meal. Lovely sunny day so we enjoyed the walk but got a taxi back !

12th May 2010.  Darts pool and a game of dominos at the new Wednesday venue, the Orchard Gardens pub in North Walsham. Quiet comfortable atmosphere so far !

6th May 2010.  New venue. Walked around Sheringham Park. Best time of year for the park as the flowers were out. There are a choice of three walks and we decided to take the middle distance one, about 2-3 miles. After, we went to the nearest pub which was The Roman Camp and sat outside with a drink in the sunshine.

29th April 2010.  Risked the showers and played tennis for the first time this year at Cromer. Good fun as usual then went on to the Roman Camp pub for a drink.

28th April 2010.  The sports centre had something going on so we decided to try the Orchard Garden pub which has just reopened after refurbishment. Better atmosphere and nice cold beer. Not sure if it fits the bill but planning to give it a proper try out next week.

22nd April 2010.  Bowls at Pinewood in Sheringham. As usual very quiet and civilised there. John ended up the winner. Then off we went for a nice meal and chat at The Crown.

21st April 2010.  Wednesday evening meet up.

15th April 2010.  Golf today at Mousehold Heath in Norwich. Lovely day so quite a few on the course. Not getting any better ! After, we tried out a new pub called The Racecourse at Sprowston for a drink outside in the sunshine.

11th April 2010.  A couple of us tried out orienteering in Bacton Wood for the first time to see if it was worth doing as an activity. We tried the second easiest route and ended up finding it quite easy and only taking 50 minutes, so we will see if we can interest others in taking part.

8th April 2010.  What a beautiful sunny day ! We went for a 2 mile or so walk around Felbrigg lake and woods. Being the Easter holiday the cafe was open which was a bonus, so we sat outside, me with a pot of tea and a piece of chocolate cake !

7th April 2010.  Wednesday evening gathering. Best turnout so far and everyone settling down, getting nice and relaxed.

1st April 2010.  We haven't done this for a while. Squash ! Managed to find some raquets and suprisingly soon got back into the swing of things. After, we went to the Vernon Arms at Southrepps and sat by the blazeing log fire and discussed the popular topics in the news.

31st March 2010.  Darts, dominos and cards at the sports centre. Pretty even between us so far.

25th March 2010.  Tenpin bowling today at Strikers. Jake won with some good bowling.

24th March 2010.  Pool, darts and cards at the sports centre.

17th March 2010.  Weds old folks night !

11th March 2010.  Slowly increasing the exercise level now after the winter. We played badmington and short tennis at Splash in Sheringham, followed by a drink in The Roman Camp. 

10th March 2010.  Evening meet up. Going quite nicely now, we played dominos, cards and darts.

9th March 2010.  Some of us went up to Rossi's to watch Arsenal blast 5 past Porto in the Champions League.

4th March 2010.  Our first walk of the year and the first in our new competition. An easy one from The Crown in Trunch to The Haig in Mundesley. A nice sunny and crisp day made the 2 mile walk a good start.

3rd March 2010.  Wednesday evening activity at the sports centre. I have booked a room for this regular event now which has a dart board and tables and chairs. This has enabled us to play board games and accomodate more people. There will be a charge of £1 per person to go towards the hire cost of the room. The five of us that turned up last night played, darts, pool, dominos and cribbage.

2nd March 2010.  AGM at Drayton. All went well, no changes. When the minutes have been done they are welcome to any members that are interested.

25th February 2010.  Tenpin bowling at Strikers in North Walsham. Some good bowling today with quite a few strikes, Jake even got 3 in a row ! We finished off with some pool.

24th February 2010. New evening get-together at the Sports Centre in North Walsham. Its nice and quiet in the social bar area and out of the 6 that said they would come, 4 turned up, which i suppose is not bad. We played darts, pool and tried cards for the first time.

18th February 2010.  Visit to the Haig in Mundesley today as our Thursday Activity. No one seems very active at the moment. Best i could do was get Chris to play darts with me. I told the guys about the first newsletter that i had compiled and we decided to start the evening get-together again.

11th February 2010.  Lot of guys not well at the moment so i thought we would do something light and popular to lift our spirits. We went to the Sherringham Social Club which is very relaxed, had a beer and some banter then played killer pool. Nice and relaxed we then went on to The Crown and had a meal. Surprisingly religion and not suprisingly football, seemed to be the main topics.

4th February 2010.  We havn't done this for a while. Went to the pictures and saw the acclaimed new 3D film called AVATAR at the Odean in Norwich. We all thought it was great ! After, we had something to eat and drink in the Queen of Iceni Wetherspoon pub.

28th January 2010. Pool at Strikers in North Walsham.

14th January 2010. Snows gone, too late to get a photo now ! Badminton and Short Tennis today at Splash in Sheringham. Then on to The Crown  for a meal.

7th January 2010.  What a week ! nothing but snow and several inches on the ground, but it didn't stop 6 guys turning up for tenpin bowling and pool at Strikers in North Walsham. Ken won the bowling with a good score of 170. Must try and take a photo of the snow for the diary.
